On Nov. 15, the RBS Minority MBA Alumni Network in conjunction with the Rutgers Institute for Ethical Leadership and the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s hosted "Managing a Global Workforce: Successfully Managing Multicultural Teams." The topics discussed included how with a globalized workforce, managers need to be prepared to interact with different cultures and cultural norms in places such as Asia, Latin America and Europe and how not understanding cultural differences in communication, hierarchy and authority can create obstacles to efficiently managing teams.
